About Caballo Lake State Park

A broad reservoir framed by the jagged Caballo Mountains, built for sailing, kayaking, and open-water fishing. Around 170 campsites and plenty of RV hookups make it an easy multi-night base.

$5 per adult (13+) — Day use $5 NM resident (no charge Oct 1 - Apr 30), $10 non-resident; walk-in and bicycle free. Camping per night: primitive $10 resident / $15 non-resident, developed $15 resident / $20 non-resident. Hookups add $5 water, $10 electric, $5 sewer per day.
